Janet Koth was a 47-year-old Homemaker from Manchester, Missouri when she competed on
Survivor: The Amazon as the oldest woman of the season. A registered nurse who graduated from the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in 1979, Janet was among the first American families to successfully adopt from a Russian orphanage with her husband Kurt. On the all-female Jaburu tribe, she struggled with the harsh Amazonian elements and was accused of smuggling a granola bar into the game, drawing comparisons to Kel Gleason from Season 2. Janet was voted out on Day 6 despite her protests of innocence, becoming the second person eliminated from The Amazon.
