Daniel Lue

Daniel Lue was a 27-year-old Tax Accountant from Houston, Texas when he made history as the first Asian-American man to compete on Survivor. A University of Texas at Austin graduate with a degree in finance, Daniel is a black belt in Wu Shu Kung Fu and speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, French, and Spanish fluently. He frequently spoke Mandarin with tribemate Matthew von Ertfelda and was proud of transforming himself from a '98 pound weakling' into a bodybuilder. Daniel was voted out on Day 9 after clashing with Roger Sexton, and he later contracted malaria during filming but made a full recovery.
