Heidi Strobel was a 24-year-old Physical Education Teacher from Jefferson City, Missouri when she competed on
Survivor: The Amazon. A Drury University graduate with a BA in exercise physiology and physical education, Heidi originally applied for
The Amazing Race with her grandfather before Mark Burnett directed her to apply for
Survivor instead. She formed a close alliance with Jenna Morasca and the two became infamous for stripping naked for peanut butter and chocolate at the first individual Immunity Challenge. At the reunion show, Jeff Probst revealed Heidi had the highest IQ of any castaway that season. She later posed for Playboy with Jenna in 2003 and married Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels on New Year's Eve 2006, and together they donated their $9.75 million mansion to charity in 2017.
